Advice and implementation · UAE SMEs

Advice is easy to find.
Implementation is rare.

Finamatik is two disciplines under one licence. Qualified finance professionals who run the finance function, and systems engineers who make your systems actually do what the advice requires. Almost every UAE advisory can tell you what to do. Very few will build it with you.

One · The finance function

Run properly, by people
who have run one before.

Everything below is delivered by qualified finance professionals, senior from the first meeting to the last board pack, with no handover to trainees.

Fractional CFO
Senior financial leadership for part of the week, not all of the salary.
FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
Rolling forecasts that update from actuals instead of being rebuilt.
Management reporting and board packs
One consistent pack a month, with commentary that names the decision.
Corporate tax compliance support
Registration, computation and return preparation, filed on your credentials.
VAT return preparation
Prepared, reconciled to the ledger, and evidenced before it goes anywhere.
Financial modelling and dashboards
Scenario models and Power BI views wired to the systems you already run.

Two · The engineering

Because advice that nobody
can implement is just an opinion.

Engineers working inside the same firm rather than at a software vendor held at arm's length. We build in your systems, on your licences, with your credentials. Nothing lives in a black box you cannot open.

Workflow automation
The monthly rebuild that eats three days, done by the machine instead.
Systems integration
Tools that currently talk to each other through your staff, connected properly.
ERP and data work
Exports cleaned, mapped and validated on the way in, not after the fact.
Reporting pipelines
Numbers that refresh on a schedule rather than when somebody remembers.
E-invoicing data readiness
Your invoice data shaped to the fields the mandate will actually demand.
Scoped per engagement
If it is repetitive, structured and costing you hours, it is worth a conversation.

How we work

The conversation comes
before the spreadsheet.

Every engagement starts with someone senior asking about your business rather than asking for your files.

What the numbers should answer is a different question from what they currently show, and the gap between the two is usually where the work is.

Three · When businesses call

Six situations that bring
owners to this page.

None of these mean something has gone wrong. They are the ordinary symptoms of a business that has grown past the finance function it started with.

01

The month closes late

Numbers that land three weeks after period end describe history. They cannot inform the pricing or hiring decision happening now.

02

Profitable on paper, tight at the bank

Profit and cash separate through receivables, inventory and capital spend. Without a cash view you can grow and run dry at once.

03

Nobody can say what actually makes money

Revenue is easy to see. Contribution after the costs that genuinely vary is where the decisions live, and most reporting stops short.

04

The same file is rebuilt every month

If a person is copying between systems on a schedule, that is not a reporting problem. It is an engineering one.

05

A bank or investor asked for something

A model, a working capital cycle, a clean set of management accounts. Assembling those under time pressure rarely goes well.

06

A deadline is approaching and nobody owns it

Corporate tax, VAT, e-invoicing. The penalty is rarely the expensive part; the scramble is.

What you receive

Reporting you can act on,
not just file.

A monthly pack that says what changed, why, and what it means for the next decision.

Consistent format, plain commentary, and the two or three things worth your attention rather than forty pages nobody reads.

UAE e-invoicing is a data problem
wearing a compliance deadline.

Appointing an accredited provider is the easy part, and it is close to free. The work is in your own data: emirate codes that are not the ISO ones, a transaction type flag no accounting package stores, and an AED amount required on every line whatever the invoice currency.
